Our mission is to expedite Australia's transition to Net Zero and create a more sustainable future where circular principles are embraced, natural systems are regenerated, and cities and regional economies and communities thrive.

Meet our Founder

Bronwyn Voyce possesses a depth of experience across industry development, environmental decision-making, social sciences, data-driven strategy, governance, and innovation. She works with governments, ASX-listed corporations, and SME’s to accelerate their transition to net zero through ESG strategy development, policy design and circular program delivery. Prior to establishing Civic Futures Lab, Bronwyn worked across the public, private, academic, and not-for-profit sectors and has held various board positions and is a former elected Councillor. Her unique experience in policy, stakeholder engagement, industry development, the regulatory environment and compliance is complimented by her pragmatic but innovative approach to delivering systems change.

Bronwyn has recently been appointed national Chair of Circular Australia’s Industry Taskforce and is passionate about advancing circular material adoption in industry, as a mechanism to decarbonise and repair nature. In response to nationwide single-use plastic bans, Bronwyn led the development and delivery of the global first program to divert obsolete stock from landfill, through the “Great Plastic Rescue” diverting over 50 tonnes of plastics from landfill, largely with the support of the NSW EPA. The program rescued, aggregated, and sorted 16 million+ banned single-use plastic items, resulting in recyclable polymers being recycled onshore for remanufacturing into longer-life, higher-value products.

Bronwyn is a graduate of the University of Cambridge “Business and Climate Change: Towards Net Zero Emissions” program and is a member and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is also undertaking a post graduate in Environmental Management at the University of Queensland and has a Masters in International and Community Development, a Graduate Certificate in Economic Development, and a Diploma in Business.
